The home of Oeil de Perdrix wine is Neuchâtel, just north of here. This northern stretch of Canton Vaud was long considered a backwater for wine but in recent years great strides have been made, and this wine is an award winner. It’s good value for money. Dry, very aromatic nose of strawberries and as it ages, flowers. Pleasantly surprising mineral touch. An interesting cooperative to watch
