Swiss Wine asked me to write a profile of Elisabeth Pasquier, whose death while she was on vacation in South America last week shocked the Swiss wine world. Please do read it, even if you didn’t know her. She has been an important part of the wine community here for the past 17 years, and she was well known in international wine circles for her role in international competitions. We all saw the professional side of her, and now is the time to remember the fuller life she led.
