Note: August 2022 move to Substack
Samples of wine and travel writing and a few links to journalism commissioned by publications over the years are listed below.
I am an independent wine and travel writer in a field where this is increasingly rare, but I believe consumers need the credibility we can offer: I don’t accept payment to write reviews nor do I write paid advertorials and my books are not subsidized: my opinions are my own, as is my expertise. If I mention a wine, I have tasted it within 2 years of writing about it; if I write about a winery I have visited it recently unless I say otherwise.
I give several presentations a year on wine, with wine tastings. I don’t actively seek this work, but if you are interested in my services (paid only, please!), as a writer or presenter, please contact me.
Media, 2019-2011 – selected articles, videos, interviews
Note: wine articles published in Genevalunch.com 2006-2016 appeared as part of the blog “Among the vines” and were transferred to Ellen’s Wine World when I stopped publishing the news site in 2016.
