The project that will link Cornavin-Eaux-Vives-Annemasse is at the heart of a larger regional project to link by rail Vaud, Geneva and France. Work began 20 months ago and is on schedule to be completed by the end of 2017, with 400 works building 14 km of track, two tunnels two bridges and five stations.
Ceva says two more open houses will be scheduled before the system opens in 2017.
