GENEVA, SWITZERLAND – Darwin, Lugano-based airline with offices in Geneva, will begin flights 2 September between Cambridge, England and four European continental destinations, the company said Monday 20 May. The airline’s 50 flights a week to and from Cambridge include six a week to and from Geneva and eight a week to and from Milan’s Malpensa airport.
Amsterdam-Cambridge will have a total of 24 flights a week, and Paris Charles de Gaulle 12 a week.
The flights will be codeshares with Alitalia; both are SkyTeam members, along with KLM and Air France.
The airline will use quiet Saab 2000 regional planes for the Cambridge connections, important given that the newly refurbished airport is close to the city centre.
