Easter in Switzerland, gray but the green is coming

Easter Sunday in Switzerland was overcast for the first part of the day in much of the country, but the sun inched its way out. Mid-afternoon, at the Col de la Forclaz that connects Martigny and Chamonix, France, the greening of the valleys was apparent. Martigny and the Rhone Valley are to the left, the road to Verbier, which sits high on the mountain in the distance, is to the right (click on image to view larger).
