French-speaking cantons populate new Swiss Tourism board

15/11/2007 by Ellen Wallace

Bern, Switzerland (GenevaLunch) – Jean-Francois Roth, a politician and former head of canton Jura’s finance department, has been named the new president of the board of Swiss Tourism, the country’s tourism office. He replaces Dick Marty of Ticino, who has held the post for 11 years. Marty must step down under new rules. Three new members of the board repesenting the Confederation were elected, two of them from the Lake Geneva region: Peter Keller of the University of Lausanne and Isabelle Aubert, head of the International Conference Center in Geneva.
