Geneva, Switzerland (GenevaLunch) – The 11 mllionth passenger of the year passed through Geneva’s Cointrin Airport this week, an alltime record, the airport says.

The airport notes that the number of travelers continues to grow, despite the global economic slowdown and a falloff in recent weeks. For the year to date the increase is 6%, which the airport attributes to its winter schedule, which has a record 108 direct flights, of which 81 are in Europe.
