Geneva, Switzerland (GenevaLunch) – Cointrin Airport in Geneva will now focus sharply on the future, Geneva council Francois Longchamp and Robert Deillon, AIG director, said Tuesday, as they presented the AIG 2007 annual report’s ”exceptional" figures: turnover of CHF280 million, CHF51 million in net profits and a 9.5% increase in passengers to nearly 11 million. The airport report notes that the good commercial results are due in large part to the increase in flights, with 100 destinations now offered from Geneva by airlines. One-fourth of those are longhaul flights.
