Good morning winter! Reconsider breakfast

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND – Ski season is upon us, and a day on the slopes requires more energy than your day at home, in the office or at school. SwissMilk, the marketing arm of Swiss milk producers, has put together a helpful guide to a good breakfast: what makes sense and what doesn’t, for an energy-packed breakfast (French and German).

You won’t be surprised to see that Chocopops are not high on the list of great breakfasts, but if you don’t have traditional Swiss breakfast habits you might be surprised to see why a slice of hard cheese or air-dried meat makes sense. Commercial muesli is often high in sugar and you’ll find easy suggestions for getting around that if you’re more of a cereal person. Bon appetit!
