Bern, Switzerland (Le Matin, Fre) – If your Swiss driver’s license is confiscated abroad because of a serious infraction, the driving ban will apply in Switzerland as well, starting Monday 1 September. Since June 2007 a hole in the law has meant that if your license was taken away elsewhere the same did not apply at home – and that hole has now been plugged.
