Mies, Chambésy rail work gets green light

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND – The expansion of the Lausanne-Geneva rail line at Mies in Vaud and Chambésy in Geneva was approved by the federal Transport Office 23 December, and the work can now go ahead.

The work is a critical part of the plan to increase Geneva-Coppet trains to every 15 minutes, part of the larger 2030 Léman rail improvement plans.
