GENEVA, SWITZERLAND – Three couples described by Spanish media as Swiss tourists paid police euros 200 each after they were caught in amorous positions  in the back of a van in Ibiza. But the fines were not for sexual activity: the six were not wearing seatbelts.

Police told Diario di Ibiza that while they have caught many people have sex in cars, this might be the first time it happened while the vehicle was moving.

The driver of the van, was stopped after he was spotted weaving, and he was tested for alcohol. Police say his test was negative but they were surprised to find the couples in the back of the van in a state of undress. The driver was caught as part of nightly patrols along the Playa den Bossa.
