Restaurants can use home-made label in 2014

Dinner chez Didier de Courten in Sierre: you know its made from scratch, but that’s not always the case in restaurants

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND – Swiss restaurant chefs will be able to take credit for their own cooking, and clients will know that food is not pre-cooked elsewhere, with a new “fait maison” label to be used starting in 2014.

RTS reports that the new voluntary label was approved by the restaurant industry and consumer groups after months of discussion.
