Lake Geneva region, Switzerland (GenevaLunch) – Roadworks around Versoix on the A1 autoroute (direction: towards Geneva) ended by mid-morning, but traffic has been slowed in both directons by accidents.

Alps closed to trucks as snow continues on south side of Alps

Switzerland (GenevaLunch) – Snow continued to fall late Wednesday and early Thursday in the Alps, particularly on the southern side, prompting a red alert for truck traffic in some areas where roads have become impassable.

Lake Geneva region, Switzerland (24 Heures, Fre) – Eight accidents in four hours between Chablais in eastern Vaud and the area around Lausanne: roads throughout eastern Vaud were badly snarled by traffic jams Tuesday morning.
