GENEVA, SWITZERLAND – The train between Oberwald and Ulrichen in Valais is being replaced by bus service Tuesday afternoon following the crash of a snowplow and a Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn train in Obergesteln earlier in the day.

The driver of the plow was slightly injured in the accident but there were no other vehicles. The train engine was lightly damaged.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are not yet clear, although the driver of the snowplow appears to have been clearing snow at the Obergesteln station at the time.
