Vinea Swiss wines festival

06/09/2013 by Ellen Wallace 1 Comment

Largest outdoor wine event celebrates its 20th birthday – 150 wineries, 10,000 visitors and hundreds of wines, great ambience. For regular visitors, this year’s fair boasts a complete re-design of tents and stands, with a greater emphasis on food and wine pairings.

Entry: CHF30 Saturday, CHF20 Friday, Sunday. Variable hours

Note – Ellen Wallace, wine judge and editor of GenevaLunch.com, will be covering the event, so expect to see reviews of wines, photos of the crowd and more from this colourful and lively wine event.

I’d have to admit I’ve never given a thought to who invented intermittent wipers and yet what a great invention. My apologies to Mr Kearns for overlooking his fine work – and now I’m tempted to see what else I take for granted.
