Grape-picking is getting underway at Domaine du Daley, high above Lake Geneva and the village of Lutry; Friday morning 18 OctoberConsider the lovely old wine village of Tartegnin for wine tasting and a hillside hike this weekend (for kids and grandparents, Signal de Bougy is a five-minute drive). Or follow any of the hiking trails around beautiful Lavaux, where the grape harvest is in getting underway. Walk from one village to the next and be sure to have a glass of wine.
To celebrate the harvest, GenevaLunch.com is publishing several articles about the vendange with photos from a number of wineries in Geneva, Vaud and Valais.
This is a busy season for art exhibits, so if you’re more inclined to stay in the city, be sure to look at the many options.
