GENEVA, SWITZERLAND – Geneva residents are preparing for the worst, another day of transport strikes, with colder and damper weather forecast for Thursday 4 December.

It’s not yet clear if the TPG public transport workers will strike, a second time in two weeks, as talks continue. But the city is discovering alternative transport means, with taxes, car services, car-sharing, two wheels and good old feet warming up to cover more kilometres than usual Thursday.
