Annecy pig (caïon) festival

A caïon, or small pig, is a Savoyard specialty. The day pays tribute to a rich gastronomic custom.

Over 40 vendors offer not only pork sausages and cured meats but also oysters, sweets and other locally-made products including Savoie wines.

Music, activities for children, and ah – of course, a squealing contest.
