Morge’s terrific little wine tasting deal

07/08/2014 by Ellen Wallace 1 Comment

Morges wines, wine tasting offerA group of wineries in the Morges area in canton Vaud has created an offer to make it easier for visitors to sample wines. English-speakers, you will be happy to know they are doing this in English as well as French – I’ve been told they would love to welcome more of the international population in the area, to introduce them to their wines.

The Morges Wineries Association brochure (pdf) provides a map of where to find them, with addresses, phone numbers and opening hours, but here are the basic details:

20 wineries in the Morges appellation CHF15 to taste any 6 wines at a wineryIf you buy six bottles, the tasting session is free.

Two of them will open on Sunday, by appointment, a rarity in Switzerland.
