Barolo’s wild little sidekick

The GD Vajra winery was one of the first in Barolo to be interested in organic, in 1972. Today they produce elegant wines from Nebbiolo – and one startling wild one from Freisa grapes.

Swiss wines with a touch of Scotland! Today’s wines are both Pinot Noirs, nothing pale or timid about either of them, one from Givrins near Geneva and the other from the Swiss Alps.
